Your Visit

YOUR VISIT

We want to make sure that your visit at The River Kentucky is the absolute best that it can be. We are just a couple months in to having a Sunday morning worship service, so please offer grace as we work out the kinks. We don’t believe that these hinder our worship experience! In order to make you feel a little more at home, here is what you can expect.

  1. A CASUAL ATMOSPHERE – We have no dress code and no strict time schedule. You and your family are invited to come as you are. We love and welcome all people here.

  2. A WARM GREETING – Our community is here for you; from a hug or a handshake to answering questions. We are starting as a small group of people and are growing each week.

  3. LIVELY WORSHIP – Our time together kicks off with a family worship experience where we welcome all to worship in their own way. We are currently playing video worship songs to help us enter into the presence of the Lord as we still look for our own worship leader (maybe that person/team involves you?!) Our services last about 60-75 min.

  4. CHILDREN – Children are encouraged to stay with their families during the service at this time. We love children and expect them to behave like children - which means making noise and having energy at times. :) We currently do not offer any childcare or classes for children but would love to do that as we grow! We do have a play pen area with toys for toddlers/babies with parent supervision. If you are interested in heading up a nursery space or children’s ministry here at The River Kentucky please come share your heart with us.

  5. SPIRIT-LED PREACHING – Pastor Andrew Eberhart brings an engaging, story-filled word to us each week from the Bible. From real-life topics to biblical doctrine, each week’s word is intended to stimulate spiritual growth no matter where you are in your walk with God.

  6. A MOVE OF GOD – God is always moving and we desire to move with Him. Though our services follow a basic structure and format, we welcome the Holy Spirit to come and dwell and sometimes that means adjusting our plans for the service to just enjoy his presence.

We’d love to meet you.

We know visiting a church for the first time can be a bit awkward and intimidating. We hope to ease that anxiety and let you know what to expect. All are welcome here! At The River Kentucky Church we are imperfect people on a faith journey, we love Jesus, and we don’t try to be religious (or expect you to be!) We are a small hope-filled, love-filled, Jesus celebrating group of people and we’d love to have you join us.
